Comments: I don't know whether it was an eagle, an osprey or a hawk which left this impression in the snow but it was definitely a once in a lifetime shot.

I was snowshoeing with my dog behind our home. I went through the tree line and came upon this in the snow. Wouldn't you know it. I forgot my camera. I had to get back to the house without the dog ruining the imprint. I came back with the camera and my husband.

It's amazing what nature can show you in one image. The gracefulness of a bird and the harsh reality of nature.
