Comments:

The Eagles were fighting over territory and when my wife and I found them we thought the bottom one was caught under the "dead" top one. My wife tried to help by removing the top one with a large branch and we realized they were both alive. The fight ensued and I started shooting. The eagles both lived and flew away to their nests after about 1/2 an hour.
