Title: Rocky Mountain Star Trails

Location: Glacier National Park, USA

Date taken: July 2004

Equipment used: Olympus OM-2 with Zuiko 21mm f3.5

Comments: This star trail photo was taken just after the moon set behind the ridge, giving the photo its glow and color. The exposure was approximately twenty minutes long. The short trails created by the relatively short exposure time (by star trail standards) gives the feeling of a meteor shower, though that is not the case. The ridge can be seen slightly reflecting its shape in a small pond near where I setup the camera and tripod.
