Comments:

I like how this plant's crisp and succulent, lettuce-like texture is represented in this photo. I also like how the plant looks "cold", especially the buds of the unopened flowers.  It was a cool day that I took the photo, but the brightness of the first bloom seems to signal the warmer weather ahead.
