Comments:

I was out birding one morning, and on my way back to where I was parked, saw

some beautiful poppies. Some were opened, and some had just started to open. 

I wanted a nice soft background, so I got in close and positioned myself so that my

subject was backed by some already opened flowers.  I like the peace and the

tension that I see in this image, and I'm glad I didn't miss it.
